This is our hand mixed exclusive nutrition formula for Love Doves and Pigeons. We developed it when a flock of older Love Dove breeders arrived in our aviary. They were not molting correctly and the hatch rate was very low - about 25%. After 3 months on this formula, they were sleek and shining, laying 2 eggs and hatching about 90%. What a difference! We then began to feed it to our fliers, and they love it, especially when they are molting or under other stress such as intense flying. Young birds, birds in molt or feeding young should have it available free-choice (along with their grain and seed) while they are growing their bones and feathers.

It is a mixture of tempting seeds, calcium and a crumbles mix. The formula includes includes extra vitamins and minerals. Feed it 2 or 3 times a week on a regular basis or free choice if your birds need condition or are breeding and raising young. This is not a substitute for your regular feed -- but a supplement.
