Doves are a variety of homing pigeons. My stock originated from Belgian long distance Homers, and have been used as wedding release doves for at least 7 generations. They will return to their home loft from distances of 25 to 50 miles easily and their parents and grandparents have returned home from up to 200 miles.

Our doves for sale are all from working parents.

This strain would probably not be competitive in the racing market because we have not bred for competition. But as release doves for ceremonies such as weddings or funerals, they are perfect. They are from a strain known as high fliers because they usually fly high into the air and circle a few times before they head home.

We select birds for you from different parents to give you a good genetic selection. They are not albino, but rather bull-eyed whites. We feel that young birds should not be vaccinated for several months, but the parents have all been vaccinated passing residual immunity to the youngsters.

Can you find cheaper birds? Probably. But you won't find better!
